THE YEFON FRANCHISE Literary Universe · Amazon Bestseller · Active IP
The YEFON franchise is API Studios' most enduring intellectual property a literary universe spanning over a decade of sustained audience relevance across publishing, education, and licensing.
Yefon: The Red Necklace Amazon Bestseller, 2014. Subsequently republished by SOPECAM, Cameroon's national publishing house. Used in schools and literacy programs across Cameroon. The youngest published author from Cameroon at the time of publication.
The franchise continues across multiple formats:
YEFON Books 2 & 3 in development. Publishing and global IP monetization target.
YEFON Kids an Afrobeat-infused episodic educational series for under-3s, blending music and early learning. Built for distribution, licensing, and long-term merchandise potential in underserved BIPOC children's markets.
YEFON: The Movie (In Development) feature film adaptation. Cast includes Isaiah Washington, Adriana Barraza, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Leleti Khumalo. Original music by Kelly Price.

API Studios is powered by the Magic Fingers Fellowship a structured writer development program training the next generation of African writers capable of producing globally competitive intellectual property.
Cohort 1: 5 writers trained across Nigeria and Cameroon. 21 episodes written across multiple projects. By 2030, the fellowship targets 500+ trained writers.
